ASUS has launched the latest iteration of its gaming-focused smartphone lineup, the ROG Phone 9 series, bringing desktop-class gaming performance to mobile devices. The new models cater to the growing mobile esports community in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
The ROG Phone 9 Pro leads the series with a groundbreaking 6.78-inch AMOLED display capable of 185Hz refresh rate, the highest in any smartphone currently available. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and featuring up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the device is designed to handle the most demanding mobile games without compromise.
“Mobile gaming in the Philippines has exploded in popularity, and serious gamers need serious hardware,” said an ASUS Philippines representative. “The ROG Phone 9 series delivers the performance, cooling, and battery life that competitive gamers demand.”
The device features ASUS’s innovative AeroActive Cooler X external cooling system, which clips onto the back of the phone and provides additional thermal management during extended gaming sessions. This is particularly important for the Philippine climate, where ambient temperatures can affect device performance.

Pricing for the Philippines market starts at PHP 54,995 for the base ROG Phone 9, with the Pro variant available at PHP 64,995. Pre-orders include the AeroActive Cooler X, a premium ROG Cetra wireless gaming earphones, and exclusive in-game items for Mobile Legends.
