Xiaomi has officially launched its flagship Xiaomi 15 series in the Philippine market, marking a significant milestone with the company’s continued partnership with legendary camera manufacturer Leica. The new lineup includes the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, both featuring professional-grade imaging capabilities.
The collaboration with Leica brings authentic optical aesthetics to mobile photography, with Xiaomi claiming the devices deliver “Leica Authentic Look” and “Leica Vibrant Look” modes. The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a triple 50MP camera system co-engineered with Leica, including a 50MP main sensor with a large 1-inch type sensor for exceptional low-light performance.
“Our partnership with Leica represents our commitment to pushing mobile photography boundaries,” said a Xiaomi Philippines spokesperson. “Filipino content creators and photography enthusiasts will appreciate the professional-grade imaging capabilities we’re bringing to the market.”
Beyond cameras, the Xiaomi 15 series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, promising significant performance improvements over previous generations. The devices feature 2K AMOLED displays with 120Hz adaptive refresh rates and LTPO technology for power efficiency.
Xiaomi Philippines has announced competitive local pricing, with the standard Xiaomi 15 starting at PHP 39,999 and the Pro variant at PHP 49,999. Early buyers will receive free Xiaomi Buds 5 and exclusive Leica-branded accessories as part of the launch promotion.
