A blogger has created a rendering of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s appearance, and the device will be officially released this month.

Compared with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, the biggest change in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the adoption of a circular camera module without a rear display, while the overall design remains consistent with the previous generation. In detail, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a Leica triple-camera setup on the back: a 200‑megapixel periscope telephoto lens at the top, with a 1‑inch main camera and an ultra‑wide‑angle lens below.
On the front, it has a flat display, expected to use the same “Super Pixel New National Screen” as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Each pixel contains independent red, green, and blue sub‑pixels, delivering 2K‑level display quality while consuming less power than a 1.5K screen. In addition, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s fifth‑generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition platform, equipped with Qualcomm’s third‑generation Oryon CPU. The CPU reaches a maximum frequency of 4.6GHz, with performance improved by 20%, energy efficiency enhanced by 35%, and overall power consumption reduced by 16%.
In terms of imaging, Xiaomi and Leica will deepen their collaboration, achieving breakthroughs in lens optics, chips, and algorithms to enhance optical performance and the photography experience in the mobile imaging era.
Currently, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has already obtained network access certification. The entire lineup supports UWB, and the top‑end version also supports satellite communication.
