Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14: Ultra-Light, High-Performance Laptop with Magnesium Alloy Build

#XIAOMI

Xiaomi has officially announced that the Mi Notebook Pro 14 will soon be released, focusing on extreme thinness combined with high performance.

Just now, the company unveiled three new color options: White, Elegant Gray, and Soft Mist Blue. With a new chassis design and fresh color palette, the appearance and texture of the Mi Notebook Pro 14 are noticeably more refined compared to previous models.

According to Xiaomi partner Lu Weibing, the new device incorporates smartphone stacking design experience and uses three types of advanced lightweight materials. The body is made of magnesium alloy with one-piece die-casting, reducing weight by more than 30% compared to traditional aluminum alloy. In addition, it features a 3D hot-pressed high-strength carbon fiber bottom shell, while the internal keyboard support plate has been upgraded to titanium alloy.

As a result, the laptop’s weight is controlled at 1.08 kg with a thickness of 14.95 mm, placing it in the high-end “kilogram-class” category. In terms of performance, it can be equipped with up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, built on the Intel 18A process, paired with 12Xe super integrated graphics, delivering nearly 70% higher graphics performance at low power consumption.

The cooling system includes a 10,000 mm² ultra-large VC module, high-speed silent fans, and a three-dimensional triple air-duct design, enabling 50W high-performance output. This allows smooth handling of 4K video editing, complex effects rendering, on-device model deployment, and even AAA game operation
