Huawei Terminal has officially announced that the Huawei Qingyun HM740 will debut on December 11, positioned as the enterprise edition HarmonyOS computer.

It is reported that Huawei previously showcased this new device at the HarmonyOS Office New Product Technology Communication Conference. Based on a deeply customized HarmonyOS 6 foundation, it achieves full‑chain independent control from chip to system for the first time, with a security architecture optimized specifically for government and enterprise scenarios.
The HM740 supports enterprise deployment of dedicated AI models (such as financial risk control and document analysis), with local data processing ensuring sensitive information “never leaves the device.” According to testers, the HM740 allows instant switching between enterprise space and personal space via a four‑finger swipe gesture.
The enterprise space enforces encryption of confidential data, while the personal space supports social and entertainment use, eliminating cross‑leakage risks. It comes equipped with USB 3.2, RJ45 Ethernet port, HDMI, Type‑C, and a physical super privacy switch that can cut off camera and microphone permissions with one click.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei Qingyun HM740 features a 2.8K 120Hz OLED narrow‑bezel display, balancing visual quality with eye protection. It is the industry’s first to launch tri‑antenna Wi‑Fi 7 technology, improving transmission stability by 50% in complex network environments to ensure smooth video conferencing and cloud collaboration.
The device houses a 70Wh battery, delivering up to 20 hours of ultra‑long endurance (14 hours of voice conferencing), covering a full day of mobile office use.
