According to media reports, well‑known tech journalist Mark Gurman revealed that Apple CEO Tim Cook’s hands “occasionally tremble,” though the cause of the shaking has not yet been clearly explained.
The reports state that over the past few months, this phenomenon has been increasingly discussed within Apple.
Sources familiar with the matter disclosed that both executives and regular employees have noticed Cook’s hand tremors during meetings or major company events.
However, people close to Cook have said that his overall health condition is good.
As Cook approaches his 65th birthday, attention on Apple’s next CEO has grown. Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, is regarded as the most likely successor.
Ternus has worked at Apple for many years, leading the development of the entire iPad product line, the latest iPhone models, and AirPods. He was also one of the key leaders in Apple’s transition of Mac computers from Intel processors to its own custom chips.

Previously, in an interview, Cook stated that one of his responsibilities is to cultivate multiple internal candidates with the ability to succeed him, and he candidly expressed that he “sincerely hopes the next CEO will come from within Apple.”
